2023 Specialties
July 27-28, 2023 IWAWC hosts its 83rd and 84th Specialties
Premium List. 2023 Specialties Premium List Final. Entries close July 12, 2023 at Noon.
Show Site: Elks Lodge 1538 Lawn, 1309 N. Bradley Rd., Santa Maria, CA
Thursday: July 27
Obedience and Rally are at 9:00 with Samantha Williams judging
Conformation starts at 10:30 with Dr. Francis McEvoy (Tirowen) judging.
Friday: July 28
Puppy Sweepstakes at 9:00 with David Smith (Taliesin) judging
Conformation follows Sweepstakes at about 10:30 with Mr. James Reynolds judging.
Lunches can be pre-ordered both days of the show. Order with the form that will be in the premium list.
Saturday: July 29 – Lure Coursing TBA
Silent Auction, Basket Auction and Raffle on the showgrounds Thursday and Friday. Judges’ dinner Friday night at Magic Dragon Chinese Restaurant.
Host Hotel: Santa Maria Inn, 801 S Broadway, Santa Maria, CA 93454. Call: 805-928-7777. Use the group Irish Wolfhounds for special rates. $104/night plus tax for Wednesday or Thursday nights, $134/night plus tax for Friday or Saturday nights.

2022 Specialties
The 2022 IWAWC Back to Back Specialties will be held at the Santa Maria Elks Lodge.
Thursday July 28, Obedience/Rally (Judge: Lora Cox) and Conformation (Judge: Ellen Kroll). Education to follow
Friday July 29, Sweepstakes (Judge: Joe Roland) and Conformation (Judge: Kelly Cromer). Judges Dinner and Silent Auction
There is no Lure Course this year.
2021 Specialties
IWAWC 2021 Specialties are scheduled for December 10 and 11 in Santa Maria, CA. The shows will be held at the Elks Lodge at 1309 N. Bradley Rd.
Friday: Confirmation judge is Mrs. Pamela Peat. Obedience and Rally judge is Samantha Williams
Saturday: Sweepstakes judge is Maria Theresa Grotano. Conformation judge is Mr. Eugene Blake
Sunday: Lure Coursing at Cabrillo HS in Vandenberg Village
Host hotel is the Historic Santa Maria Inn. Call to reserve rooms. Mention Irish Wolfhounds for special rates. Thursday night rate is $94 plus tax. Friday/Saturday rate is $109 plus tax. 805-928-7777.
Judges’ Dinner and Silent Auction is Friday night at the Santa Maria Inn.
IWAWC Specialty Lure Coursing
The 2019 Specialty will be July 25 and July 26 at Ryon Park in Lompoc, CA.
The Lure Coursing is slated for July 27 in Lompoc, CA.
